AL-ANとのやりとり和訳【Subnautica:BelowZero】

執筆時点でサブノーティカ：ビロウゼロ（以下「ビロウゼロ」）は日本語版でプレイすると、エラーによって強制終了されるバグがある

それを避けるには表示言語を英語にすればOKだが、それだとストーリーがわからない

そこで、翻訳は拙いながらも、ストーリーで重要なRobin（主人公ロビン）とAL-LAN（異星人アラン）の会話をまとめる

しかしビロウゼロはエンディング後のセーブがないため、ラストシーンの会話がPDAに記録されず、残念ながら翻訳できていない

記載している順番は時系列に沿っているが、探索順序の自由度が高いゲームのため、実際の順序はプレイヤーによって異なる。また、AL-LANを見つける前にイベントをこなすと発生しない会話がある

各見出しはPDAに記録された1分目冒頭である、目次からジャンプする時の参考にしてほしい

なお、AL-ANを回収してから行くかどうか、AL-ANからの呼びかけに応答するか拒否するかで内容が変わるため、それら全ての回収はできていない

Robin: It feels good, doing this one last thing for Sam. I feel like I got some closure.
AL-AN: My people do not experience “endings” as you do. Do humans feel joy in realizing that you’ve reached the end of something?
Robin: Sometimes. Closure is a sense of resolution. Like, knowing that even though it still hurts, it’ll be okay.
I did what I came to do. I found out what really happend to her, and I got to finish her work. I learned a little more about the person I’ve looked up to for my whole life. I wish I’d told her that more.
Sam always wanted to make a difference. She wanted the bacteria contained, to keep everyone safe. I’m grateful to give her that. I just wish I could have said goobye.

ロビン：サムのために最後にこれをするのは良い気分だわ。区切りがついた気がする。

ロビン：時々ね。区切りっていうのは解決感のことよ。例えば、まだ痛みがあったとしても、もう大丈夫って思えること。

私はやるべきことをやった。彼女に何が起きたかを知って、彼女の最後の作業を手伝えた。私がずっと尊敬してきた人のことを少しだけ知ることができた。そのことを彼女に伝えたかったけど……。

サムはいつも何かを変えたいと思ってた。彼女はバクテリアを封じ込めて、みんなの安全を守りたかったんだ。私はそれに協力させてもらえたことに感謝してる。私はただ、さよならを言いたかっただけなんだ。

エンディング

ここからはここまでの翻訳以上に正確ではないが、意味はだいたい合ってるはず

AL-AN：ロビン、ちょうど良いところに来た。ちょうどフェースゲートが開くところだ。

ロビン：これを？アルテラから隠してたかったわけね。

AL-AN：隠していたのはほんの千年ほどだ。故郷の安全を守るのが最優先だった。同族が生きていることを信じて。

ロビン：（同意を示す）

AL-AN：私のアームを貸す、手伝って欲しい。

（AL-ANの浮遊するアーム3対の内、1対がロビンに付与される）

ロビン：これは……なかなか。

（ロビンが倒れた柱を直す）

AL-AN：ありがとう、これで準備が整った。

（AL-ANが高速移動したかと思うと、宇宙船が一瞬で建造される）

AL-AN：おいで、ロビン。

（ロビンが宇宙船に勢いよく吸い込まれて天井に叩きつけられる）

AL-AN：すまない、浮遊装置はもっと重いものを想定して作られている。手を貸せたら良かったのだが、見ての通り私は船と一体化している。

ロビン：ずっとそのままなの？

AL-AN：永遠はない。準備はいいか？

ロビン：ええ、過去と別れる覚悟はできてる。

AL-AN：発射まで3・・・2・・・1・・・

（フェーズゲートが開き、ワームホール移動らしき不可思議な移動と宇宙空間を経由していく）

（異星人の施設と特徴を同じとする都市のような光景が展開する。廃墟に見えなくもない。）

ロビン：生き残りがいたら？

AL-AN：君となら、どんな困難にも立ち向かえる。

まだマルグリッドの会話やPDAに登録されたサム達の会話を解読していないので、わからない部分も多いがアランとロビンの会話がわかっただけでもかなり理解が進んだ。

会話がつながっていない部分があり、翻訳ミスと思われるがそれでも収穫はあった。日本語エラー落ちバグが改善されたら、ぜひ答え合わせをしたい。
